I am usually very bad about coming up with name ideas. My poor dog Kiba went several weeks before I came up with a good name for her. So this time I've decided to get a jump start and start thinking of ideas now. I really like the idea of naming dogs relating to their place of origin, so I would love to give my new dog a nice Welsh name. Those name ideas will be listed first. Also since Kiba is not very fond of female dogs I will almost certainly get a boy dog, so all the names here are for boys. Bolded names are ones I like the most.

love the name list and keeping with the origin of the dog. I did the same with my puppy... who was almost Brynn but we went with Wallace which apparently means 'The Welshman'.
I love Pwyll...so cute! I think that naming him Merlyn would be cool!

Of your bolded names, I prefer Kip/Kyp - simple and easy to use with commands. But if you love the mythological/Welsh/Mabinogion names, pick one - you will probably get blank looks and requests for further explanation from people when they hear it, but the puppy should understand...
The grandsire of my first two Welshies had a registered name of Bach Drych (he was born in Wales), which means something like "little mirror". His owners ended up calling him "Fred". Eventually he became Ch. Bach Drych CD, but was always called "Fred".
